OEA vs GLP-1 Medications
These are two entirely different categories — and that's exactly why OEA and GLP-1 can go hand in hand: OLEACORE® as the daily companion to a GLP-1 routine, never a competitor or replacement.
GLP-1 medications
GLP-1 receptor agonists (such as semaglutide and liraglutide) are prescription-only medicines regulated by the TGA. They are prescribed by a doctor for specific medical indications, and involve clinical oversight, prescriptions and often injections.
OEA (Oleoylethanolamide)
OEA is a lipid the body makes naturally in the small intestine after eating fats. OLEACORE® is a dietary supplement — not a medicine, not a substitute for prescribed treatment, and not a weight-loss drug.
Hand in hand with your GLP-1 routine
Many people on GLP-1 therapy take OLEACORE® hand in hand with their prescribed plan as a daily companion: one softgel before meals to help support normal feelings of fullness, alongside mindful eating, adequate protein and daily movement. Your medicine handles the clinical side; OLEACORE® supports the everyday habits around it.
OLEACORE® is not a medicine and does not boost, replace or modify any prescription therapy. If you are on a GLP-1 medication or any prescription therapy, talk to your prescribing doctor or pharmacist before adding any supplement — including OLEACORE®. Do not stop, change or replace prescribed medicine based on information from a supplement brand.
Optimise your GLP-1 regimen with OEA.
OLEACORE® OEA may help support the everyday habits that keep a GLP-1 plan working: steadier appetite, earlier fullness and less need to chase results with higher dosing.
May reduce appetite plateaus
OEA helps activate satiety pathways your body already uses after eating healthy fats, which may help keep hunger cues steadier week to week.
Earlier fullness, smaller serves
By supporting the natural fullness signal between gut and brain, OEA may help you feel satisfied sooner and eat less at each meal.
Support your prescribed plan
OLEACORE is designed to complement — not replace — doctor-managed GLP-1 therapy, helping you get more from the lifestyle side of treatment.
