Plateaus are normal. Here's the sensible fix.
A plateau doesn't mean the plan is broken. Bodies adapt, life shifts, and small compensations sneak in. Pull the boring levers first.
- 1. Weigh two weeks, not two days. A 14-day average removes water and glycogen noise.
- 2. Retighten your food routine. Track three ordinary days honestly — most plateaus have a snacking or drink explanation.
- 3. Add strength training twice a week. Muscle changes the whole equation.
- 4. Bump daily steps. A 1,000-step increase is small, sustainable and cumulative.
- 5. Sleep. Same wake time, seven days a week (see our sleep guide).
- 6. Consistency, not intensity. Take OLEACORE® every day, on the schedule — not just when motivation is high.
If you've tried these for eight weeks and nothing moves, that's a conversation with your GP or an accredited practising dietitian — not a reason to cut calories further.
