OEA vs GLP-1 Medications

These are two entirely different categories. It's important to understand why.

GLP-1 medications

GLP-1 receptor agonists (such as semaglutide and liraglutide) are prescription-only medicines regulated by the TGA. They are prescribed by a doctor for specific medical indications, and involve clinical oversight, prescriptions and often injections.

OEA (Oleoylethanolamide)

OEA is a lipid the body makes naturally in the small intestine after eating fats. OLEACORE® is a dietary supplement — not a medicine, not a substitute for prescribed treatment, and not a weight-loss drug.

Can they be used together?

If you are on a GLP-1 medication or any prescription therapy, talk to your prescribing doctor or pharmacist before adding any supplement — including OLEACORE®. Do not stop, change or replace prescribed medicine based on information from a supplement brand.
